Well it looks like it is going to be a new year for Rocky Point my friends. We see price wars on the horizon and nothing but discounts and specials as far as the eye can see. If your traveling to Rocky Point in the next two months you are in luck.

 

Most of the condominiums on Sandy Beach are offering specials like pay for two nights and get the third night free. This deal is great even if you can only stay two night. You just add the extra free night on to the end of your trip that way you do not have to check out at 11:00 A.M. you can check out any time you want. You get to miss the traffic at the border and get a little more out of your vacation.

 

My family was lucky enough to be in Rocky Point for New Years eve. It was so nice. 70 degree weather, people sun bathing on the beach and hardly any body in town. Winter is great time to be in Rocky Point.

 

It really will be a new year for Rocky Point. Marriott has broken ground on Sandy Beach. Phase three (the final phase) at Las Palomas is half way done and the new road from San Diego to Rocky Point should be done this year. This week we saw a high rise building being built on the Marina and another high rise building going up on the mountain behind the Marina. The views from these new building will be amazing. Can't wait.
